Role Overview:

As a Part-Time Front End React Developer at Starlight, you will play a crucial role in building and enhancing user interfaces for our web applications. Your work will directly impact how users interact with our platform, making it easier for individuals to discover and apply for the benefits they need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications using React and Astro.
• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to implement and refine features.
• Ensure high performance and compatibility across various devices and browsers.
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
• Ensure application is well integrated into observability tooling with Datadog.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in front-end development, particularly with React.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with GraphQL APIs and asynchronous request handling.
